Report an Issue

Feedback can be submitted by a viabl.ai developer using this featrure from the burger menu within an open knowledge base.


This will present the following dialog for the user to categorise (such as 'General inquiry' or 'Bug report') and describe the issue they wish to report...


For XpertRule (or partner) hosted viabl.ai the reported issue will be emailed directly to the XpertRule (or partner) support team. For customer self-hosted installations, the email address to which the report is sent should be set during instillation by the system administrator.

For self-hosted installations the email address used by this feature is set by the 'report_issue_email' key in the 'settings.json' file of the viabl.ai Platform. This feature relies on the 'smtp_settings' being configured appropriately in the same 'settings.json' file. It is recommended that the email address of the platform administrator is used so that issues are filtered before being passed on to XpertRule.
