Add a Global Constant

Using this tool will create a Global Constant object in the Objects Catalog.

In a number of applications it is necessary to set various constants for a knowledge base at design time, such as external URLs, api keys etc. This tool allows the developer to create such an object with a fixed value assigned at design time that can't be modified at runtime.

This tool and the constants (defined using the tool) in the Object Catalog are identified by the icon .
