These rules are local to their Dialog Object and are primarily used to control the visibility, accessibility, or obligatory status of other controls on the dialog. If the 'XpertForm Rules' region is not visible in the dialog then it may have been minimized, simply click the center of the divider bar to open the region.
XpertForm rules are specific to each dialog and cannot be inherited from a parent dialog. Each rule is built by selecting the control to form the condition with its value then by selecting the control and its value to form the action. There are icons that appear on the right-hand side when a line in a rule gets the focus and these are used to add additional 'And' clauses, or to delete the line. If a control is highlighted in the main editing region and the filter is enabled then only those rules that involve that control are shown. Also when a rule has the focus a couple of icons will appear on the left-hand side, one icon will appear next to the rule number allowing it to be deleted and another icon which can be used to reorder the rule. It should be noted that the rules are executed in descending order so the order may be significant.
