Deploying Applications
When a knowledge base ready to be deployed to the end user, the developer can use the Deploy knowledge base option to generate the necessary components for running their knowledge base application. Depending on your version of the Viabl.ai Platform, there are two UI deployment modes (Chat & Dialog) plus one Silent Target Deployment:
Viabl.ai Platform Chat & Silent applications are both deployed to, and executed on, the Server. On the other hand, Dialog applications are deployed to a server but are executed in the Web Browser (Dialog-based Applications do allow selected Scripts or Knowledge Objects to run on the server e.g. for security reasons).
You can use Publish for testing your knowledge base application
You can use Deployment System Detection to detect (at runtime) what type of deployment was used:
